2024 – 2025: Building a Strong Foundation
 

My immediate goal is to complete my diploma with a high GPA while actively building relevant skills and certifications. I plan to participate in Humber’s Career Step workshops and obtain my First Aid and CPR certifications.
As a member of the Humber Rover Crew, I will continue engaging in volunteer activities and gain practical experience, such as marching drills and attending meetings at the Police Academy gym. Through this program, I aim to explore various roles in law enforcement to determine the best career path for me.

2026: Defining My Career Path
 

By 2026, I plan to decide between pursuing a bachelor’s degree or entering the workforce in law enforcement. At this stage, I am leaning toward applying for a role in law enforcement. If I don’t secure a position immediately, I intend to gain experience through a security role, such as at Sunnybrook Hospital.

2027 – 2028: Gaining Specialized Experience
 

Working in a hospital environment, particularly in Sunnybrook’s new psychiatry wing, will provide me with invaluable experience dealing with individuals facing mental health challenges. This aligns with the growing need for law enforcement professionals skilled in handling mental health crises.

2029: Joining a Law Enforcement Agency
 

By 2029, I plan to secure a role in a law enforcement agency, bringing with me a strong foundation of education, certifications, volunteer experience, and specialized skills.
